It has been on TV now for roughly six years and over the past 2 months I have been going bananas over the Office! That's right.<br /><br />It is one of those shows that make me laugh when no one else is around. Usually comedies are not all that funny when you watch them by yourself. But I have to say that when I watch this show I am for lack of a better term busting a gut!<br /><br />I do enjoy a show that has clever writing, which this show has. That is often my biggest criticism of television shows lately. And around the whole I usually don't watch much TV. But I like characters and I enjoy the story lines. Therefore, I am watching it faithfully. <br /><br />I would recommend this show to those who are looking for something that is smart and comical. What you see is what you get with a television show like this. I don't always expect people to agree with my taste in television shows and movies, etc. But I felt like writing about how much I enjoy it.<br /><br /> Also I just bought season 5 on Amazon.com for $19.99 which is a steal considering it is $39.99 everywhere else! I love Amazon.com a lot also! It is probably the single most important website of my life! But I I'll save that musing for another day! In the mean time just going to keep watching my office seasons 1-4 on DVD and season 6 on the tube until I am graced with the presence of my new season 5!! And I owe thanks to my wife for letting me purchase it she has pleased me :)<br /><br />P.S. If anyone is wondering, my next project is going to be obtaining my Dwight K. Schrute bobble head. I am going to attempt to keep a blog. This is an experiment that I am not sure will work or not. But hey, its worth a try!<br /><br />So today I was thinking about Maine, which is my favorite place on earth! This will be the first time in many years that I will not be able to go to the Maine coast. Very sad.<br /><br /> I was thinking about the lighthouses and how I can just sit and stare at them for hours because they represent something safe and calming to me. And how going to the lighthouses are my favorite part of the Maine experience for me. Looking at lighthouses always calm me when I am distressed or anxious because they put me in a good mood. They remind me of my childhood and how things then were never quite as complicated as they are now.<br /><br />I am not saying that my life is a disaster rather I have a good life and God has lead me to some interesting places in my life. But when I look at lighthouses they remind me that God is their to be my guiding light through everything. I am reminded that as complicated as circumstances get that I can feel safe and calm. <br /><br />I know this can sound a bit cheesy and sentimental but I am cheesy and sentimental!
